The Beginning - 2008 Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix Marshals Training

Never that I had imagined that my love for fast cars had catapulted me to my involvement in "the Formula One". the first Night Race in Singapore, ever in the history of Formula 1. I did went crazy when F1 announced that it's coming to Singapore. A true F1 coach potato, I was amazed at the high technicality and sophisticated races involving F1. It's not an easy deal to understand how a land vehicle driven & control by a man can move at the speed of 300kmh for 60 laps & How a man can sustain a 5G pull for almost an hour negotiating turns & bends with Downward Force Or how a Toro Rosso (Red Bull in Spanish) versus Red Bull Racing are considered duel of slow cars in F1 context.


Well what I did pour into my 1 full page of rationale, reason & motivation to volunteer myself for the SGP 2008 Formula 1 did the spark and the invitation was itself a reward. As the saying, the rest is history.
